35 and counting

Todays weigh in marked 35 pounds lost.  I consider every pound to be significant and ever 5 is something to celebrate but not with food.  I want to lose another 10 by my birthday and to keep on going from there.  I've done my basic exercise for today and as i'm sort of watching the football game will try to do some extra.  Yesterday was my off day and i feel good about exercising today so even if i can't tomorrow more today won't hurt.  Today were eating in and right now im snacking on some low cal cole slaw i made the other night.  Might make a shimp stir fry for dinner....I picked up some frozen seasoned stir fry veg yesterday.  I want this to be a good week with good food and ex......got lots of berries and fresh and frz veggies yesterday.  Also picked up some jello to make for snacks but will have to wait until theres room in the fridge for a bowl.  Years ago we used to have an extra fridge in the garage and it was nice, we do use the kids old dorm ref for the oranges we get shipped in the winter but theres not much more room in there.  I'm rambling here but the husband and i were discussing that maybe nutrition needs to be taught in school.  I don't remember all the history i was taught and learning about something that we do everyday multiple times like eating would probably be more useful.  Some of whats posted as knowledge on the Internet is pitiful,  I even cringe at looking at how poorly some people do the WW points,,,,they didn't work for me because i too corrupted them to fit what i liked rather than what i should be eating .....and while it may be working for weight loss it is not healthy.....better than what was probably  eaten before...... but in the old days you had to eat vegetables and fruits and now you don't.  Well you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink and even with my knowledge it was useless until my mind was made up to do something.  Enough said.
