Happy Easter, Passover, whatever, or nothing...whatever makes you happy.
Allan posted the people that started in phase one and where they are today.....I hope more of them are still on their journey down even if not in the program...I know a couple that are still trying though they couldn't do the program anymore. I didn't start with Allan even though I started about the same time. I jumped in a few days late in Phase 3....on 8 Dec 2010 @ 276 pounds. As of this morning I weigh 239 for a loss of 37 pounds in these 3 phases. Since starting on 18 Oct 2010 I have lost 56 pounds for an average of 2 pounds a week. If I can continue to average this I will be under 200 at a year...even if I slow(I don't want to but I am aware that my body may do this to me as it did in the past when I did WW) to a pound a week I would still lose more than 80 pounds in the year. Mir spoke about consistency and this is what I am aiming for....to consistently move downward and reach my goal. I've become convinced that I will get there and would like to be there by my birthday next year. To do that I will need to average 2 pounds a week.....will try but I refuse to beat myself up if I can't do it as I want to continue to be positive on this downward trip.
My week of low carb will end today and I will be returning to the earlier meal plans. Chicken is on the menu for tomorrow night but we are eating with friends for the holiday and while healthy the meal will have some more carbs and I will be using some of the other meals to make dinner work. Monday I think will be a day with Tuna....I miss the tuna from the earlier meal days and will definitely be doing a steak and mushroom day.

It is hard but it is simply. I know you know what I mean. You are doing awesome. Keep it up my friend. Keep up the great work.
Take care and have a blessed Easter.
Proud of you !
I'm here cheering you on, dear. I know you can do this and I'm so glad to have met you here in blog land. Thanks for stopping by my blog with some support. I will be here if you need anything. I wish you the best in your weight loss effort. I am living proof that anyone can do it if they want it bad enough. Hugs. :)
That's a great loss and no reason you can't continue to progress week to week. Keep a chart in the bathroom or fridge and see the progress. It helps. I keep my chart on the blog sidebar, but log in my weight every time I weigh in the calendar in my bathroom. I see it first thing every day. It reminds me of my goals--lose every week. JUST LOSE EVERY WEEK...ideally more than 1 lbs. :)
I'm 3.4 pounds away from 200. I wanna be under that so bad!!! And consistency will get me there. :)
It's the lose/regain/lose/regain/lose/regain that's a problem. Even modest weekly losses add up. As long as they are consistent and the rebounds rare, very rare.
Keep going!
