Well it's not been a good week weight wise. My son is going to have surgery later this month and my dh and I have been figuring out what to do....we finally decided he will go the day before his surgery and i will join them 2 days later. Then we worked on flights which re really high right now....finally figured out how to use flier miles but had to pay fees on some due to not enough advance notice...but was exactly on date for our return so i got everything separate. So sorry but between work and this I didn't get to a lot of blog reading this week. I did make time to see the Voice.......great show imo. They are so much more relaxed this year...you can see it in their actions.....I got an email for tickets and my son didn't want to go. Also we made plans for my birthday and the concert got put off, made another set and now another concert I want to go to is the same day...will see if the tickets for that come thru...if they do i will sell the ones I have.....It figures that both things would be the same day. Well i guess I put this off as much as i could....

ha! Love the opi thing.
You can and will do better this week. It does take time and planning. Are you going to be a little less busy with paper work and stuff?
Yes, life gets in the way sometimes. I hope your son does well and all your travel plans work out. Maybe you can find time to at least read while you're traveling and sitting at hospital?
you have a bunch of stuff going on. It is good to do the nails. I need to get out of my fashion rut. I have just put on eye liner and mascara, but the other day I used some foundation and moisturizer. It made me feel fresher younger. Smooth. This frakkin desert is dry and my skin gets so dry despite the dieting water intake.
I love the way you summerize! Best wishes for your son's sugery and quick recovery...I wanna see your nails!
Sorry that your son has to go through this, and you guys along with him. Make sure to tell the airlines this is due to ILLNESS...as in "hardship", and that can affect rates. Although, maybe you already told them....
Just try to maintain. I think when life is stressful, trying to lose can be just too much, too much. Just aim for health and staying where you are. You can focus on losing when life becomes a bit more normal, right? Just HOLD ON! That's doable. Scope out opportunities at the hospital for good stuff (there are often few, but findable). Take what you can in a cooler (this saves moolah, too, as I found when my nephew was dying, and I took bags of my own food/snacks for the vigils.)
God bless you and your son. May healing be his and his doctors greatly wise and skilled. Hugs,
I am glad you got everything figured out. I will be praying for all goodness for you and your family.
Keep going my friend. I know you will do better.
Take care and God Bless!!
You know what? Difficult times happen. Schedules are crazy, kids get sick, cars break down, and work can be a bear. It all doesn't matter, and none of it is a valid excuse for not taking care of ourselves with healthy food, plenty of water and a few minutes of exercise every day.
So...you CAN do this, despite the surrounding circumstances. You can stay on track and make progress. It's time to push a little harder and get that weight back down before you lose any more ground.
So get to it, my friend!
I love the Voice! Hope all goes well with your travels & your son's surgery:-)
