E2E......The Start

Thanks to Mir a new challenge begins.......

I was not as good this Christmas as last.....I ate more,  had a little more chocolate, a little more desert,  and a lot more salt.   I bought olives for the nibbles on Wed,  and I've been eating left over stuffing....with gravy.

Its time to stop!

Weight.....249(it was 245 sun morn)

Waist.....50 inches(i'm an apple these days)

Cal....1400(av across the week and will be tracked on my fittness pal)

Fluids.....12(96 oz)

Ex.....30min 3xwk(stationary bike)

Books.....Procrastination equation by Piers Steel and I have ordered 2 books on Vitamins/etc......these are medical books and I'll look them over when they get here(the one I really wanted is on back order) and will add there names if I'm going to post info from them.

My goal......235(which is 60 pounds lost and where I was before getting sick last June)

I am committed to this and I will NOT quit.

I think my quote needs to be reinforcement for me......."I CAN (do this)"........to this I may want to add a weekly thought about anything that giving me problems at that time.....such as.....I CAN track every day.  Notice what i think is going to be the habit that i have lost that I think will be the most important thing I can do to get on track again.

I think I have everything in here but my outfit....I have a deep plum XL outfit in my closet that I want to wear next May.....I was wearing other outfits like this but those pants had been worn and the elastic waist stretched out some.....this waistband measures 32 inches and felt like it would have to be torn to fit so the picture is of the outfit not on me....yes it will stretch but not 20 inches so we will have to see how this goes.

Looking forward to reading and commenting on everyones blogs.

Great goals, lv2. I wish you the best in the challenge. I will be putting up my information tomorrow. Or maybe later tonight. I can't wait to get started. Good Luck!

Hey Buddy! Yep you and me. And it is so cool how we both started in the 290's and now are in the 240's. Let's do this.

I just posted my goals. I had considered a stretch athletic outfit..I am wearing a 2x in a danskin one my daughter just bought me a couple of months ago. I like wearing it. Mid calf and all cozy. I am gonna do that too. Since I am broke until payday, it will have to wait for show.

All in all I see your goals very much attainable and realistic.

YOU CAN DO THIS!
Let's do this bitch (that is my inspirational quote)

One of my aunts had a boxer when I was young. We loved the heck out of him. Especially after she would tell us scary ghost stories. We would fight over who got to sleep with him when we would stay the night.

I really like your mutable quote. I think it's super helpful when you need that extra gumption. :)

Can't wait to see you in that outfit!

Your end weight goal is so reasonable, that you surely can do it. Even surpass it, without a doubt!

I have been into acquiring more colors since I lost weight this year, and I notice I've glommed onto purples/plums/wines and a color I hadn't worn in ages--pinks, fuschias. :D So, I'm all pumped for you to fit your plummypurple one!

Listen, this holiday season got a few of us. Me, included, though I didn't binge or really eat any crap like cakes or stuff, it's still eating too much for what my body wants--too much salt and salty foods, extra fruits, extra seving of taters, etc. It adds up and people who lose a lot of weight regain suepr fast. I kid you not, it's like lightning speed regain. It's hard.

But we'll press on and do as best we can to fight the fat and get fit. That's what we CAN do, change behaviors bit by bit and get BETTER....it's our time to shine!

Hey buddy checking in again. I am also at 249. How magical is that to be buddied up with same weight?

My dad was an Okie. LOL. He was raised in Missouri, though. In the Ozarks born 1922, he had a gun for hunting, a dog named Fritz and his warts were cured by a Hillbilly charmer who just spit on them and said some Hillbily mojo words. LOL

My favorite aunt lived in OK. I barely knew her but the one time I met her stayed with me. She was a free spirit like me. She had long white hair and was an artist. I am artistic, but not so much an artist...

So Today, I wake up to knowing I have to be in a house full of young jello shooters. I can't wait until tomorrow. I will do one only just before midnight not to be rude. I get jello lol.

I almost made my quote "I musta been hungry" but decided to go more inspirational. Let's hook up email. If you are feeling like the fridge is doing some voodoo on you, you can email me. I am not sure how deep of a buddy you want to be. Already I am stalking your comments way too long. Just know that I wish so much the best for my buddy (lol), me and all the challengers. New Year new chances to achieve what we want weight wise.

Tobi, I'll be here to encourage you to continue on your journey to reach your goals, although I'm not in the challenge. I have a feeling that you'll end up leaving the 230s and maybe even the 220s behind by the time this challenge is over. Just keep planning ahead for your meals and it will be a breeze for you. :)
